Humanity abandoned its stories—and the legends, fairies, and beasts within them were erased. Darkness followed, and with it, chaos.

Once, the Paragons rose to protect those tales, swearing terrible oaths to save worlds and themselves. But their age ended in tragedy.

Now, only three remain who dare to take up that vow again:

• A Polyglot
• And a boy with pistachio-green hair

Aboard the flying fortress Fata Morgana, they journey across fractured worlds to reclaim what was lost.
